Blushed: Guerlain by Emilio Pucci (Terra Azzura)

If you can only get one thing from the Guerlain by Emilio Pucci collection, this should be it. The Terra Azzura Bronzer and Blush is beautiful, versatile, and complementary on a wide range of skin tones.

The packaging is gorgeous... very reminiscent of classic Pucci. Guerlain even decorated the inside of the box for the occasion:
Inside, the product is wrapped in a Pucci printed pouch...
The split compact is magnetic (like Terra Inca). There is also a mirror in the top portion.

Now, I really thought that I was NOT going to like this combination. What if the bronzer was muddy? What if the colors translated ashy or too shimmery on my warm skin tone?
But really, how could I doubt Guerlain? If they can't do anything else ... they can do a bronzer like nobody's business. They have the concept of 'enhanced' skin down to a fine art. And they do NOT disappoint with this product.

Each color shows up very well on my warm skin tone, both separate and blended together. Observe...
The bronzer color is on the far right. I used a small fluffy eye shadow brush for the swatches. As you can see, the pigment picks up easily, and swipes solid.

This is what all four colors look like blended together on me. I used a blush brush (swiped across all four colors) to get the job done.

One thing to note is that the shimmer factor is controlled. There is some shimmer, but it's very subtle. You can use the bronzer, or any of the colors alone, or blend them together for a warm pink-bronze blush color.

I love this product. From packaging to performance, it really delivers.

In fact I love Guerlain more than anything, its my favorite brand If I would have to choose :) Its a bit pricey for me tho, so I dont get me new products all the time. I will be out travelling next month and I guess I will do some shopping from the Guerlain counter in the taxfree ;-)))

  3. It might. What's your MAC Comparison? I think that anyone up to NC45 can pull this of comfortably. You can probably pack the color on an NC50 skin tone though.
