Armani: Summer 2012

THERE HERE!!!!!!!!!!

I've been waiting with bated breath for the new Armani Eyes to Kill Silk Eyeshadows, and FINALLY they've arrived!

From the top left: Obsidian Black, Obsidian Grey, Ecailles, Madre Perla

Obsidian Black

Obsidian Grey

Ecailles

Madre Perla

The theme for these new shadows is Teal. Every color is infused with some version of teal... with  maybe the exception of Obsidian Grey. Ecailles reminds me of the 'Airy Jade' color (#10), but it's more teal and less 'sky blue' in the finish.

Like their predecessors, the formula is like a 'dry cream' to the touch... they set and stay put until you take them off. Brilliant.

  1. Yes! I bought my very first ETK the other day. Obsidian Black. I love it so much. The texture is amazing. I might just go back for the grey and even a couple more.

  2. Aren't they FABULOUS!?? You must get Lust Red (#2). It's as much of a 'must have' as Obsidian Black.

  3. Lust Red is the one that I've always had my eye on. That will be next.

  4. It's good. And despite its name, it's very versatile.

  5. I love the look of Obsidian Black but I have so many black based blues and greens from Fyrinnae that don't get much use. I wonder if I would get much use out of this being so intense? I'm absolutely getting Madra Perla. Do the other shades have much dimension too them? They look fairly uniform?

  6. All of the colors are multi-dimensional. Obsidian grey is likely the flattest. Ecailles is a pale teal shimmer and Madre Perla is a white based multi shimmer with a little teal tossed in.
