Black Knight Lipstick was first introduced with the Style Black collection... on which I passed. But this past Black Friday (which is named for retailer's effort to get back in the 'black' with their books... hence all the sales), MAC put Black Knight up for sale for one day.
So I got it.
What I like about this lipstick is that it is HIGHLY moisturizing. I have the Illamasqua version, and I find it very matte and drying. But this one is great for deepening lipstick colors, setting up an 'ombre' effect with other colors, or going all out Goth...
I'm glad I got it.

wow, amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful lips :)
Thanks sabbatha. The color takes commitment to wear alone, but I like it.
ReplyDeleteI love that color soooo much! And you look great with it!

Nice but I'd wear it only for halloween )=
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing on your full lips :) I wanted it but sadly it was a US only promo :( x
ReplyDeleteOh no... it was? I didn't know that Adrienne. I will likely use it to deepen other colors or to create a gradient lip. I really like that it's so moisturizing.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Black Tie from Lipstick Queen? It's a gloss and it's black but not opaque black, so you can tone down shades without darkening them. Very interesting, I use it a lot!

I have tried it Renata. You're right, it's a sheer black color.
