ReplyDeleteThanks! :-) I keep forgetting how much I love Illamasqua Skin Base. Every time I use it, I'm impressed all over again with the finish.
ReplyDeleteYou have lovely skin! Illamasqua's skin base looks lovely on you. Gorgeous makeup!
ReplyDeleteThank you... it's all the foundation though. LOL I love Illamasqua Skin Base. It's really good.
ReplyDeleteI commented, but it didn't come up! The alternative is I am loopy and it did go through, but on a different post. In any event, please ignore this if I've asked this before.
ReplyDeleteHow you get powder products to last on your brows? I've tried using and not using a wax base but I always need to touch up my brows midway through my day. I think pencils last a bit longer, but my mileage varies depending on the brand/product. Ideally, I'd like to not have to worry about whether or not my brows have disappeared.
Sincerely,
Your Humble Brow Admirer
Hi Boo Boo Ninja! I'm sorry, I'm just seeing this. Despite my very oily skin, my brows seem to stay in place with just powder. I haven't used a brow pencil in years. I know that some people use the pencil FIRST, then go over it with a powder. Sometimes I'll get home and my brows will be SHINY (from the oils on my skin) but they'll still be perfectly in place.
ReplyDeleteI also actually have brow hairs that extend all the way to end ... so I'm not 'creating' a brow either. I'm simply going over my natural shape. That might make a difference too.
Thanks for writing back, Shahada :)
ReplyDeleteI think my problem is that my right brow *doesn't* go to the end. There are a few hairs there but the rest were singed off in a klutzy attempt to light the fire for New Year's a year ago. :(
Everyone: please learn from me. Your brows don't always grow back!
(((((Boo Boo Ninja))))))
ReplyDeleteI've heard that they don't grow back if you overdo it on the plucking or lose them some other way. I've been blessed with brows that keep coming in, and as I get older I'm much more cognizant not to get them tweezed too thin.
