Hi Shahada, why must you tempt me with a great neutral eye when I must be doing work?
ReplyDeleteTee hee. I have no one to blame but myself.
I have an off-topic question -- do you ever depot your makeup? I'm going for a small freestyle palette and know the major players on the market but I thought I'd ask you your thoughts. I suspect you don't depot your products as yours often have such lovely packaging.
Happy Friday!
LOL!
ReplyDeleteI don't really do much depotting to tell you the truth. I either buy the shadows in a pro pan (already depotted), or use them in the original packaging.
I had my Metier eyeshadows depotted and they have never worked properly. I've had to reset them all twice with alcohol. It wasn't worth it for me.
I've seen a million videos on youtube about how to depot shadows, and I guess that's great for folks who want to do that. I'm not a fan, personally.
I've been wearing Topkapi and the Rouge blush too - it's the season for it. The blush will last for a long time, but I wish I'd bought a back up for Topkapi. Have you seen a dupe for silvery/taupe shadow in the quad? thanks!
ReplyDeleteAva, I wanted a backup of Topkapi too! I went back the NEXT DAY after getting my first one, and that sucker was SOLD.OUT. lol
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look around for a dupe for the taupe... I'll let you know.
Ava, a fellow makeup junkie shared this link with me:

But it's expensive... $15 above the retail price, plus tax.
If it's worth the markup to you, you can get it there.
Hope that helps!
Something about the tone of that gold is very pretty on you. It accents your skin tone beautifully. I love golds, they are my go to colors.
ReplyDeleteThank you. :-) I have a warmer skin tone, so warm golds and browns really work with my coloring.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! And thank our fellow makeup junkie who shared the link! I bought the quad - though it wasn't cheap, it was far less than the prices on Evil Bay.
ReplyDeleteYeah... Ebay is a MENACE with those markups. I try to avoid it unless there is simply no other way to get the desired product.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got a backup of the quad. It's truly a dream. I love it.
ReplyDeleteSimply BEATIFUL! I love natural make up with this result, but i can't do it !
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!
ReplyDeletenuff said, i've always been saying it and i'll keep saying it, you do the most amazing eye make up! x
Thanks. You guys are so sweet. :-)
