FOTD: Illamasqua Skin Base

I road tested the Illamasqua Skin Base today... and it passed with flying colors! Now, I decided to go without powder for my first run. Next time I know better. It set beautifully on my oily skin for about 4 hours, but then I got pretty shiny and needed to blot. Still, it wore so well. I really love this foundation.

  1. It looks amazing on your skin! I wish there was a way to check out the shades in person. I'll have to do some research and try to guess my shade!
Thanks for all the info about it!

  2. Thank you! I really love this foundation. That's a full coverage on my face, and it still looks like 'skin.' I definitely recommend it. There is a chart on the Illamasqua website that compares MAC shades to help you find your perfect match. That might help.

  3. The foundation looks great. Do you mind telling me how much you paid in total? I don't want to be blindsided by some crazy shipping fee like that one time I ordered jeans from a UK store.

  4. I'm just seeing this Shontay. I think for both foundations (because I mix them), with the conversion it's about $90 total. So that's about $45 a pop per foundation. Not unlike some of the one's I get here in the US. The shipping is manageable... I think it comes out to about $14.
My friend's mother saw the foundation on me over the weekend and freaked out! She made me show her the website, so she can order some of her own. LOL
