They all look stunning. They don't swatch as well as they look. Despite the marbling, the shadows do end up rather one-dimensional on the skin. The teal is... teal, the purple is sheer, the pink is frosty, the mauve is pedestrian, and the copper swatches more of a bronze on me. The top left shadow, Black Karat, is the most impressive. So that's the one that came home with me. It is neither Black nor Gold (carat)... but more of a khaki-antique gold:
I swatched it wet and dry...
Dry is on the left, wet is on the right. That's with flash.
Without flash. More black shows up in natural light... and the color is a bit cooler.
The shadows are all very silky to the touch. I like this one... so I'm keeping it. These shadows retail for $22 a pop, so swatch before you commit to buy.

Both swatches are nice, particularly the first one.
ReplyDeleteI think I like the shadows wet a lot better! They come off more vibrant! :D
ReplyDeleteYes I agree. It looks better wet. You can pack and layer it better that way I think.

ReplyDeleteThose colors are just so gorgeous for a night party :)
ReplyDeleteI think so to. They're all quite lovely, but Black Karat is my favorite of them all.
