FOTN: Blackout

Hubby and I went to see "The Mechanic" tonight, and I wanted to do something with a little bit of an edge. The bad news is, I only  had 15 minutes to pull myself together (I was late getting home to get ready). The good news is, I was able to  use products that are specifically designed to get you done and out the door rather quickly:
Now before someone notices the freaky white streak going through the middle of my face, I'm going to cop to it. I tried to use the By Terry Touche Veloutee at the last second OVER EVERYTHING ELSE... Mistake! It bonded to the powder (Chanel) and didn't budge. I thought I'd blended it all out before taking the picture. Apparently not.
On the up side, it was not noticable in real life. I checked my reflection in the car and the theater bathroom, and didn't see anything funny about it. In fact, I didn't notice it until just now, when I was uploading the pictures. BOO! Ah well, you win some... you lose some.

FACE
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light
By Terry Touche Veloutee
Chanel Loose Powder (Dore)

EYES
By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Black Pearl (lids and above crease)
By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Mystic Rock (above crease)
Louise Young Eyeshadow in Black Bear (lids and under waterline)
MAC Eye Liner in Smolder (waterline)
By Terry Terrybly Mascara

LIPS
Chanel Lip Liner in Nude
By Terry Lipstick in Fashion Beige

The By Terry Ombre Shadows are idiot proof; you can slap them on blind. The Black Bear eyeshadow has very little fallout; you can pack it on with only minimal cleanup. I also used the shadow in my brows. The By Terry Beige lipstick may replace Shiseido as my favorite nude. It's EXCELLENT. Full reviews on all the products are coming soon.

  5. Thanks sugar! Girl, yes you do have blending skills... I saw what you did with the glitter palette! It was gorgeous! The trick to blending is to just keep working with the product until you get the shade variations you want.

  8. Thanks you guys! Yeah... this was a quick look. As you can see, it's TOO quick because I didn't blend out the highlighter properly! Lol
