I say all that to say, that I tried the 'frosted lip' trend today, with one of my new Wet n' Wild alleged lipbalms. Still not sure how I feel about it...

I'm not a fan of glitter, shimmer, sparkle, or sheen anywhere but my eyes--and even then in small doses. Frost is a whole other level. I can't bear it anywhere so I'm biased against it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think I commented to one of your earlier posts that we are the same complexion. Truth be told, we look like we could be related. And, er, you look like my mother in the 80s right here. Beautiful, but definitely dated. However, it's done so well you might be able to pull it off.
Thanks Jasmine! I was looking at my lips like "Do I want to go out in public like this?" lol.
ReplyDeleteFrosted lipsticks are DEFINITELY dated. I love a subtle sparkle if it's warm and sheer, but no glitter at all on my lips. That's out.
Girl, we might be related! You never know... my family is so big that I wouldn't be surprised.
Beautiful love your lip color
ReplyDeleteThanks Billi!
ReplyDeletelol. I have a few frost lipsticks and I adore them. :) It is all about preference.
ReplyDeleteI love this look I think this lipcolor really suits you
ReplyDeleteI have a full lip and I have never tried frost lipsticks, but I know that shimmer and glitter doesn't always work for me... :( Sometimes they do if I find the right shade.
ReplyDeleteI think you pulled it off well and you did not overdo it which is good. :)
Tanisa, I might need some pointers because I am NOT good with frosted lipsticks. I just came back to this post and I'm STILL not sure about that look! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments ladies. I'm ever a work in progress...
