Embargoed!

So I was all set to come in here and share some of the makeup I'm doing for the web-series, when I was told that I am NOT to share any of the real-life artwork or designs until further notice. I guess it really WAS Ultra Secret! Ah well...

But I will tell you that the project is coming along very nicely, and the makeup I'm getting to play in is AWESOME! I'm really  having a good time. So... until I can actually show pictures of the set, you'll just have to take my word for it, and deal with pictures of me. Sorry.

Here are the eyes for the day:

That's MUFE Aqua Black layered under MAC Pigment in The Family Crest. Here's what I learned... The Family Crest can be a bit ashy (despite its imbedded shimmer) on darker skintones. I had a beast of a time trying to blend it out. Instead of Aqua Black, next time it would be better to layer it over a brown or bronze shimmer. I think that would bring out the highlights in this pigment a bit more. Eh, we are ever learning...

I'm going to get some sleep now. Been on my feet for 8 hours, and I'd love to squeeze in a morning run before I head back to the set tomorrow. As soon as I get the green light, I'll share pictures. Promise!
